Low Real Estate Fees in Ottawa
Seller Option #1: Full Service Program
This program gives you, the homeowner, all the benefits of being listed
on your local board's
MLS® system. Flat Fee
Realty provides all the same services as our competition and you will
only pay 3.75% in total commissions when your property is sold (2.5%
is paid to the Selling Agent & Flat Fee Realty keeps
1.25%).
Compare this to a 5% commission charged by many other companies!

Full Service Program homeowners
like the idea of participating in the sale of their
home. By doing things like hosting your own
open houses and sometimes even showing your home to
possible buyers, you may be able to save the majority
of the fee that is usually offered to the
co-operating Broker and save even more
money.
Seller Option #2:
Fee-For-Service Program
This program gives you, the homeowner, all the benefits of being listed
on our local board's MLS® system, for a low, flat listing fee of
$995 and you
pay for only those services you feel necessary (such as advertising).
When your home sells:
If your
home is sold by a
co-operating
Broker you
will pay a commission fee of 2.5% of the selling
price to that Broker on closing. Total
cost to sell your home: $995 + 2.5% of sale
price.
If
you, the Seller, introduce
and show the Buyer (not
represented by another Realtor) your home, you
eliminate the commission payable to the
co-operating
Broker and we negotiate
the offer, complete the necessary paperwork, co-ordinate all
conditions/inspections and deliver all paperwork
to the Lawyers for an additional fee of $995.
Total cost to sell your home: $1990.
